The II TOURISM FORUM organized by IDT-CEMA on April 5, 2024 at the ARNOLD SOUTH AMERICA Fair created by Arnold Schwarzenegger and managed in Brazil by Ana Paula Leal Graziano, CEO of Savaget, with her manager Bianca Brizzi, received congratulations from more than 300 congressmen made up of leaders from the hotel market, travel agencies, municipal secretaries of tourism, investment funds, entities, and businessmen from the sports and wellness industry sector.

The President of IDT-CEMA, Bruno Omori, opened the panel by addressing the figures for global tourism, with over USD 8 trillion in domestic movement within countries and global exports exceeding USD 1.5 trillion. In Brazil, there is a flow of 60 million domestic tourists and 6 million foreign tourists, with the potential to triple demand in the coming years, especially if integrated with sports, well-being and with the advent of the approved and sanctioned law on sports betting and online gaming, which will generate R$ 100 billion in revenue by 2025, and with the imminent approval in the Senate of the law on integrated casinos, resorts, tourist casinos and bingo halls, already approved in the Chamber of Deputies, which will inject USD 70 billion in investments into Brazil's macroeconomy.



Next, Omori began mediating the lectures and debates; the Mayor of São Roque Guto Issa, who also chairs the Consortium of Sorocaba and Region, presented the city's success stories with an increase of more than 200% in revenue with the entry of investments linked to tourism, culture and investments, citing the airport, outlet, new hotels/resorts, theme parks, integrated into the traditional wine route, and also stated that the tourist resort will be boosted in terms of marketing with the arrival of online and in-person games with strategic partnerships with national and international investors.


Carlos Bernardo, Diretor de Operações da Rede ACCOR, da rede hoteleira que possui mais de 5000 hotéis no mundo e no Brasil é a líder do mercado com mais de 340 hotéis em operação, apresentou cases de sucesso de hotéis no nosso país e no mundo, conectados ao esporte e bem estar, destacando resorts com campos de golfe, quadras de tênis e futebol, assim como hotéis corporativos com academias e spa, assim como patrocínios ao Paris Saint German ou a própria Olimpíada deste ano, destacou o campeonato de futebol com colaboradores de toda America do Sul integrando ao esporte à integração social, a oportunidade com os jogos e a importância do associativismo.


A diretora de eventos do SPCVB, Elenice Zaparoli, trouxe a visão dos destinos turísticos e a importância de eventos esportivos integrados à estrutura de hotéis, centros de convenções, gastronomia e lazer como grande diferencial para atração e fechamento de grandes feiras e eventos, destacou a força do Convention & Visitous Bureau na promoção e atração de novos eventos.


O Dirceu Piero, Diretor do Hotel Recando da Paz Atibaia, apresentou o case do hotel boutique, com spa, academia e mais de 200.000 m² de área sendo mais de 60% de mata atlântica preservada integrando o bem estar e o meio ambiente para trazer experiências diferenciadas para os hospedes e os participantes de eventos corporativos e sociais com alta gastronomia, e a primeira mão informou do projeto de expansão com a construção de Resort integrado à natureza com investimentos superiores à R$ 150 milhões.


Os parques temáticos integrados a eventos esportivos e experiencial de bem estar fora a temática apresentada pelo Diretor do Magic City, Paulo Kenzo Uemura, que inicialmente apresentou o case de sucesso do seu parque aquático com eventos esportivos de corrida, Moutain bike, shows e spa, com o projeto de expansão para 500 Uhs no hotel, depois trouxe cases mundiais de parques com experiencias diferenciadas integrando o lazer e esporte no Japão, Mexico, Alemanha e Suíça.



Alessandra Luglio Diretora da Luglio Nutrição, trouxe uma visão de geração de experiências diferenciadas na hotelaria com a imersão ao bem estar com dinâmicas integradas de meditação, nutrição, alongamentos, integrados à atividades sensoriais desde sala de convenções, spas, ambientes de piscina e ao ar livre com cases desde o interior ao litoral no Brasil e no Mundo.

The executive began his presentation by presenting BETSUL as a case study of the success of the sports betting market and now also with online entertainment games, especially after the law was approved and sanctioned in Brazil. He also reported that during the EXPOTEL fair, in partnership with IDT-CEMA, the BETSUL TURISMO project will be launched, creating opportunities to generate new points of sale for hotels, theme parks, restaurants and the entire Brazilian tourism market, in addition to bringing fun activities and new experiences for tourists.


At the end of the panel, all participants expressed the acquisition of new knowledge and benchmarking with the cases and expertise presented, and immediately began networking with congress participants in the VIP Lounge of the Arnold South America Fair, which received more than 90 thousand visitors over the 3 days of the fair.
